This Dog Spent 12 Months Away From Her Mom Because She Was Too Terrified To Leave Her Old Home

Touching Story of a Dog

A dog named Sandeul met her adoptive mom about 8 years ago. She had the best life she could ask for, and was so happy to spend each day with the woman who saved her from the streets. For the last 12 months, however, she was away from home for the most absurd reason.

Sandeul’s mom moved into their new home, about 5 miles away from their old house. She wanted to bring her dog with her, but couldn’t because she couldn’t put a leash on it. She couldn’t walk or even carry her dog out of the yard, and suffered a nasty bite when she forced her pup to go outside.

Sandeul used to love going on walks,, and she didn’t mind wearing a leash. Three years ago, however, she reacted aggressively when her mom put one on her. Since then, she spent every day inside the yard and never went out.

The older woman battled cancer for a while, and said that her dog was why she fought hard for her life. She wanted to return the favor by providing Sandeul with the best life. But if she won’t bring her dog home, she won’t be able to fulfill her promise.

Eventually, ESAC Pet Training Center Director Lee Chan Jong offered his help. He observed the dog for a short while and then tried to put on the leash on Sandeul. The dog snarled as he expected, but to everyone’s surprise, it suddenly collapsed to the ground.

Sandeul was mentally unstable,, and she needed to remember the good memories she had when she was outdoors. The leash wasn’t the problem; it triggered her trauma. She required rest, and Director Lee suggested bringing her to her new home immediately.

When the dog woke up, the first face she saw was her mom’s. She was more relaxed seeing a familiar face, and was in the perfect state of mind to start her training and rehabilitation.

After a year, Sandeul wore a collar and a leash and stayed completely calm. She forgot whatever dark past she had and began enjoying the outdoors again.
