Admit it; we have days when everything’s in order, and days when they just aren’t. Hooman or dog, all go down that path, and we just have to deal with it, don’t we?

Plopped

This K9 officer’s name is Jango; at the time of this video, this dog just wasn’t feeling it – and it’s only a Tuesday!

The K9 Officer Dog Who Refused To Get Up And Go To Work Unless It Got What It Wanted

This hilarious moment will go down history, thanks to this hooman officer’s wife. She couldn’t stop laughing at her husband trying to get the dog up and travel to work!

Jango refused to get up from his plopped position – he flat out rejected the order of a higher ranking officer, knowing he could get away with it.

The K9 raised his head, but his lower body never left the ground. We couldn’t hear what the officer dad was saying, but we could hear his wife’s giggles loud and clear.

Wifey even said that there’s three days more before the weekend – poor doggo, work must be tough, huh? What did the K9 want or need to help him get through the day?

Jango’s dad must have thought the same thing and promptly knelt to give the dog a few head pats. He knew he struck the right cord when Jango showed his belly to his hooman.

The K9’s invitation wasn’t ignored, and his dad gave him a couple of belly rubs – Jango’s hooman mom started giggling again and asked if it’s some sort of motivation.

It sure looked like it – the K9 officer promptly got up from his plopped position on the ground and climbed in the car after the belly rubs!

Jango’s dad felt genuinely accomplished and hammed it up for the camera – he gave a thumbs-up sign before driving to work.

Thanks for your efforts, officer – you’ve made everyone’s day. We appreciate your dedication to belly rubs, err, we meant your job. Kudos!
