Ryan Seacrest is a well-known American radio personality. But little did everyone know that he is also a dog parent to a pooch named Georgia. Georgia has been with Ryan ever since American Idol creator Simon Fuller gifted the pup to him.
The radio host opened up about this development in a radio show, saying that the dog was a gift from his good friend, Simon. Ryan shared that Georgia came into his life after several visits to Simon’s house. Simon has raised several Labrador Retrievers over the years.
With this, Ryan became interested in adopting one because he felt there is happiness in being a dog dad. Little did he know that Simon would take this note seriously. As it turned out, Simon gave one of his Labrador Retrievers to the radio host.
According to Ryan, when Georgia came, there was a note from Simon, saying that the day he receives Georgia would be the first step into daddy hood. It became apparent to Ryan that raising a dog is no easy feat.
Despite this, the radio host still went through this phase, and now he is enjoying his time with Georgia. Ryan said Simon’s gesture was one of the sweetest things, and the Emmy Award winner would never forget such. More so, he would always be thankful to Simon for giving him the best gift thus far.
Although Ryan is still learning several things in raising dogs, he said he would take it seriously and patiently. Several of his friends who are also fur parents have warned him that raising a dog will never be easy. Nevertheless, raising a dog would be exciting at the same time challenging, his friends said. Now that he has Georgia with him, Ryan believes he has to be more patient and understand to the needs of the dog.
