Matti
Caera, an old stray dog, had no one to help her out. She was matted up and freaking out in a cage, with mud smeared all over her body. Due to her appearance, people soon started calling her Matti. The name soon caught the attention of everyone around.
Alex The Angel
The Humane Society, in which Matti was sheltered, soon did some tests to check for initial issues. It was after this that she was put up for adoption. A few days later, the big day arrived, which would change this dog’s life forever. An angel in the guise of a human being came to the adoption center. His name was Alex.
It was like any other usual day for Alex. He happened to drive past the humane society and went in to check on a few dogs. That’s when he glanced upon Mattie. One look at the dog made Alex realize that something was not quite right.
Caera
Mattie was freaking out in the cage and was projecting over-stimulated activity. Alex knew that he didn’t have room for a big dog back at home, but something made him go back to Mattie again and again. It is here that he made up his mind to adopt her. Mattie was rechristened to Caera, who was ten years old at that time. Given the severity of her arthritis condition, Alex decided to take her home so that he could care for her better.
Once at home, he gave her a quick wash, a haircut, and treated her skin infection. Alex even took her out to a vet to get her proper treatment. Soon enough, Caera started to respond to the medications she was subjected to. Days turned into weeks. Caera started warming up to the idea of living in an apartment. Gradually her condition started to improve and her overall appearance also started to change.
A Little Effort
It doesn’t take much time to help an abandoned dog. Only a quick decision and a little effort will do the trick. The same thing goes for Caera and Alex. All Caera needed was someone who could help her out of the cage and extend a loving hand. Luckily for her, Alex came in at the right time and revived her from the mess she had become.
Alex the Savior
Today Caera has had a complete transformation. She looks absolutely fine and happy. All thanks to the efforts of Alex, who has become a savior for this old dog. We need more people like him who could do wonders with their small yet loving efforts.
