It’s always funny to see pets imitate what their masters do. They’re like mini versions of their owners because they copy their humans’ habits.
This French Bulldog named Chloe made us all laugh when she did her version of dad’s push-ups. Her dad, Enrico, did it every day, so it’s not surprising the Frenchie picked it up.
We all know that push-ups build muscles, so it’s not surprising Enrico incorporated them into his routine. He did it so consistently that his pet copied him.
The French Bulldog must have found this exercise fun. We couldn’t think of another reason that could motivate Chloe to do this regularly.
Exercise Fan
Perhaps she wanted to build muscles too, just like her dad. Although walking around every day ensured she’s got muscles in the right places, the Frenchie did it for the fun of it.
She probably liked the carpet’s feel on her belly too. Chloe’s version of a push-up involved dragging half her body over the living room rug, so this possibility made sense.
Motivated Pet
Whatever Chloe’s motivation, it was enough for her to do push-ups with her hooman regularly. If Enrico’s out there exercising, you could bet that Chloe would be there when the push-ups came.
We wish we could be as focused and consistent as this Frenchie. She didn’t have a fitness goal, but she enjoyed bonding with her dad through this exercise.
Transfer that mindset to ours, doggo. Trust us, the world would be a happier and healthier place to be. A lot of humans would be fit and fab in no time, and we’re down for it.
