Imagine seeing a dog stuck in a sewer pipe. Would you walk away, or would you stop and help?

Luckily, there are still humans who choose to do the latter. For that, we are thankful.

One day, a woman saw a stray dog stuck in a sewer drain. Eventually, she became terribly upset because the area flooded. She knew that it was just a matter of minutes before the dog becomes completely submerged.

The woman panicked but couldn’t help the dog on her own. So, she made few calls and was finally able to get the local rescue team to help.

As soon as the rescuers arrived, they immediately planned out their rescue. They were even shocked by the way the dog camouflaged by the overgrowth. It was indeed a blessing that the woman even managed to see him there!

One of the rescuers volunteered to go inside and pull him out. It was such a risky move but knew that they had to act fast.

Luckily, the dog was calm despite being scared. It seems as though he knew that he was being saved from there.

As soon as the rescuer got a hold of him, he then handed him over to another rescuer. The poor dog was so cold and in shock. He just let them do their thing.

The moment they arrived at the rescue center, they took care of him. They gave him food, water, and a place to sleep. However, it wasn’t the end of it.

Because of being in the sewage for many hours, his body had been exposed to dangerous chemicals. Unfortunately, the toxins entered his liver and caused seizures.

The rescuers helped him in every way they can. They gave him an anti-seizure medication as well.

After a few short days, the dog’s health improved. In no time, he found his forever family! What a perfect ending for this adorable and calm dog.
