The cause of the delay was something that no one expected either. Who would expect that the cause of the holdup was a dog? The canine ran into the field all of a sudden.
When the audience saw this, they waited in anticipation of what the players would do about the canine. Others might have assumed that the players will chase it away, but that’s not what happened. One of the Players approached the dog.
When he did, the dog rolled over on his back. It was asking for a belly rub. One player was kind enough to humor him. He played with the canine for just a little bit. Once the dog had enough, he ran off to the field again.
This time, another player did the same thing. He approached the dog and played with it. He then slowly led the dog outside of the field.
Everybody was impressed by how the players handle the situation. They did not look annoyed by the dog’s presence. They simply understood that the dog only wanted to play.
Everybody cheered the player on for what he did. The kind man did not chase the dog away but, instead, playfully led him out of the field. The audience was impressed by him and all the other players who stayed calm and collected. They were very patient with the dog, and that was impressive as well.
